How to Apply
If you are interested in Legacy for 2025-2026, you can fill out this Google Form. We will contact you to let you know about info sessions in Spring 2025 and when applications open in Summer 2025.
GENERAL APPLICATION INFORMATION
Legacy serves a maximum of 30 speakers per season. Unfortunately, we may not be able to accept all applicants despite qualifications. Our goal is to find committed families who fully understand and share our vision and are ready to commit.
Applications will be received Summer 2024--exact dates will be emailed to you. Late applications will not be accepted.
BEFORE YOU BEGIN:
The student should be prepared to supply the email addresses of 2 references. You should forewarn these people that they will be receiving a short survey from us. Make sure both of your references will be able to complete the survey BEFORE the deadline. It is your responsibility to ensure that references have submitted their portion of your application before the deadline.
STEPS IN APPLICATION PROCESS:
Fill out Application Form. There are questions for the student and each parent.
Please budget approximately 30-60 minutes to complete this application. Father, mother, and students have sections to fill out on the Application.
Both the student(s) and the parents should be prepared to write a paragraph (or copy and paste one) explaining his/her interest in joining Legacy. He/she might include goals, learning objectives, what type of speeches interest them and why, or even fears of public speaking.
Supply the names and email addresses of two References. We will ask each Reference to answer some questions about the student.
Family interview. We will schedule this after we receive your application.
